FAQs

Information for the day

  • Please RSVP your attendance by the 7th of March 2026. This enables us to continue with the preparations for the day.

We understand that for some guests, distance and costs to travel to WA may be impossible. Although we will miss having you, we understand that some may not be able to attend. Please RSVP if you can not make it by the 1st March 2026, as this may allow for another guest from our ‘wish-list’ to attend.

The wedding venue has limited seating capacity and we have a limited number of friends and family that we can invite to celebrate this special day with us. For this reason, no plus-ones are included in your invitation. If you can not make it to our wedding, please also know that this invitation is non-transferrable to another friend or family member.

If you are unsure who is included in your invitation, please message us as chafanimani@gmail.com.

  • Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Mardella Meadows (1548 Kargotich Rd, Mardella WA 6125).

We ask all guests to arrive at 3:00pm, and make their way directly into the garden, as the ceremony will begin shortly thereafter. Venue staff will be there to assist you.

Light refreshments will be served during the cocktail hour after the ceremony, with lounges and lawn games available for socialising.

Dinner will be served at approximately 6:00pm, followed by dessert, dancing, and enjoying each other’s company.

The reception will wind down at 11:30pm and all guests asked to depart the venue by no later than 12:00am.

  • Mardella Meadows is approximately 45 mins drive south of Perth city. We recommend driving to the venue as it is a little remote.

Uber & ride share is available to and from the venue. Pre-booking your ride is highly encouraged, particularly for return trips to avoid long waits due to limited driver availability for remote areas.

Free parking is available onsite as you drive into the venue (carpooling is encouraged!).

  • The dress code for the day is garden semi-formal/dressy. Think cocktail dresses, button-up shirts, dress pants with suit jackets, rather than tuxedos or ball gowns.

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held in the gardens on the grass, so please choose comfortable shoes (i.e. wedges, block heels or flats). No jeans, sneakers, or thongs/flip-flops.

The reception will be held indoors in the reception hall, with continued access to the gardens for lounging.

  • We kindly ask no physical gifts to be provided.

If you wish to offer a gift:

    • For those who are Baháʼí we ask that you contribute to the Baháʼí  Fund directly.

    • For other guests, there will be a wishing well available on the day.

  • As this is a Bahá’í wedding, it will be an alcohol‑free celebration. We kindly ask that no alcohol be brought or consumed at the venue.

  • We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present with us in the moment. Our photographer will capture it all for you to enjoy later.

You can take photos at all other times outside of the ceremony.

  • In Perth, April days are usually warm and comfortable (24–26°C), with temperatures often in the mid‑20s during the afternoon.

By the evening it can cool down and feel crisp (14–16°C), especially outdoors, so we recommend bringing a light jacket, wrap or extra layer to stay comfortable after sunset.
